Red Grape Skin Extract
Grape Skin Extract is a scientifically proven ingredient for skin healing and restoration and is a staple in the personal care industry. Early research indicated the unique ability of this extract to improve and protect collagen and elastin, which enhance skin health and elasticity, provide UV protection, and lower risk for skin cancer. Red grapes are very rich in resveratrol, which is considered a very potent antioxidant, anti-microbial, and anti-inflammatory agent. Grape Skin Extract is rich in additional chemical components like proanthocyanidins, polyphenols, flavonoids, and anthocyanins. These are all very potent nutrients that help to reduce the sun’s damaging effects and free radicals. In particular, Grape Skin Extract has been proven to have wound-healing properties, and when combined with other antioxidants, reduces evidence for skin cancer.
