Aloe Vera Extract

Aloe Vera Extract is famous for its health, beauty, and skin care properties. Research studies have found that nutrients from Aloe are great for regenerating, balancing, purifying, detoxifying, and oxygenating the skin. The extract promotes radiance and youthfulness. Aloe has also been found to combat acne, dry skin, irritation, inflammation, and stretch marks. In ancient times, Greek scientists viewed Aloe Vera as the universal panacea and the Egyptians called Aloe “the plant of immortality.” In modern times, the Aloe Vera plant has become even more popular in dermatology. It is credited with over 20 amino acids; minerals, such as calcium, magnesium, and sodium; enzymes; polysaccharides; and more, all of which promote younger looking and radiant skin.

Apple Fruit Extract

Keratinocytes produce keratin, which is composed of fibrous proteins responsible for strengthening skin membranes. Decrease in keratinocytes leads to a weakening of skin cells, resulting in a sagging, wrinkling effect. Scientists tested moisturizing effects of dried extracts of Apple Fruit, called Botanimoist® AMS (Apple Moisturizing Saccharide) in a placebo-controlled human study and found that a single topical application of a gel containing 5% of the extract resulted in 88% increase in skin hydration—after just 30 minutes. Even after 6 hours, skin hydration of participants in the study remained 31% higher than the hydration level of non-participants.
